These are all great organizations, and I strongly encourage volunteerism. If you're not able to assist one of these organizations for whatever reason then I suggest finding something to do in your own community. You don't realize how great volunteer work can be until you've done it.

  • I helped with and organized several community service activites with the Pitt State chapter of Beta Alpha Psi
  • As a member of the VAOC we helped the community of Ottawa County.
  • I maintained the website for the City of Commerce until about 2016.
  • The Mission Continues is another great volunteer organization.
  • I don't know if it can be called volunteer work because they fed me, but I enjoy helping with the Commerce pee wee football league, and kept the scoreboard during the home games.
  • I volunteer at the Tulsa Pride Parade.
